T-Mobile USA may not be tops in total subscribers or revenue when compared to its larger competitors including Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T. Where they do have them beat is in wireless retail customer satisfaction according to J.D. Power and Associates. Luckily for T-Mobile USA, there isn’t a map for that so it will be hard for its competitors to refute the finding.
T-Mobile USA has good reason to be proud of its highest ranking. After all, this is the eighth time the company has received such honors.
J.D. Power determines rankings based on its Wireless Retail Sales Satisfaction Study. The study includes 8000 Internet survey interviews which occurred between July and December last year. Two of the specific categories T-Mobile ranked highest in was for the service giving by retail sales staff and in the area of price and promotion.
When you are talking about the retail business you can’t undermine the value of good customer service. Unfortunately, customer service is becoming as hard to find as diamonds these days especially, when it comes to wireless service companies. Luckily, like a diamond, if a customer knows where they can find one you can bet they will usually flock there. That’s good news for T-Mobile USA’s bottom line and subscriber rolls.
